September Favourites! Beauty, Makeup, Fashion, Kitchen…

Hi friends, I’m back with my September Favourites! I don’t know where did the time go! I missed 2 months! 🙂

Let’s jump right into my favourites:

Let’s start with the makeup:

I’ve been enjoying 2 foundations in September. The first one is my all-time favourite: The Rimmel Lasting Finish in Soft Beige. It’s the best foundation I ever used. The coverage is medium to full. The finish is natural. What I like the most is that it doesn’t feel like foundation on my skin at all. I can wear it all day and feel comfortable. To be frank, it’s the only foundation that makes me feel like that.

The second foundation is the L.A. Girl Pro Matte Foundation in the shade beige. If you have a yellow undertone like me, you know the struggle. Usually, the light/Medium foundation shades are neutral, pink or sometimes orange. This range has few yellow undertone foundations. It has a matte finish, full coverage and not too dry! I will probably do a full review on it in the future.

I’ve been loving the 2 Emily Noel Makeup Revolution collaborations, and been using them non stop! The palettes are amazing! I did a review on The Emily Edit The Wants and The Needs. I had to force myself switching palettes the last week.

Beauty:

After finishing almost all of my The Ordinary skincare, I decided to go back to my natural skincare routine. Although I liked what I tried from that brand (My The Ordinary Review), I simply find that Oils work the best for my skin. One of my favourites is Argan Oil. It’s magic even when you have acne/oily skin. Now, I’m using Hazelnut Oil. I also have a blog on my favourite oils and essential oils if you want to check it out!

Fashion:

Booties are my favourite things to wear in Fall and Winter. I posted a blog on a fall outfit featuring my patent faux leather booties from Forever21. They are so inexpensive and go with everything. The Bay is also the place to shop for shoes. They have a mix of affordable and designer brands and often make sales. I picked up a pair of camel pointed botties for only 37 CAD. Amazing right!?

I’ve been obsessed with my tights from Rachel Tights, Le Coffret de Rachel. They have amazing designs; It’s pretty affordable. The only negative for me is that I already got 2 holes in 2 tights after only 1 wear. But I will order again for sure just for the great variety!

Kitchen:

I’m totally in love with the Instant Pot. At the beginning of September, it went on sale. So, I picked it up and didn’t regret it. It’s so practical. I love how convenient it is and have been using it at least once a week. You just set it and move on with your other tasks. And it keeps your food warm. A time saver!

Hope you enjoyed reading,

XoXO,

Myriam.
